This has been a big year for our homestead. We welcomed new animals, built a barn and caught some beautiful sunsets!

Betty gave birth to Fresh Dexter on 7/18/22. Although he does have a complete belt his DNA was detected as A1/A2 and is currently for sale.

Daisy gave birth to Oreo on 7/20/22. Since Oreo's belt is not complete he will be kept for beef. This was her first calf.

We calf-share our cows which means the calves are with their mamas at night and separated for a few hours during the day so that we can milk

Rosita foraging while spending time with our meatbirds. They stay in a chicken tractor that gets moved every other day for their protection.
Our layer hens are fed a Non-GMO organic feed. Once you try farm eggs you never go back to store bought.
After garden harvest we put the piglets in the garden to forage.

Rusty is our 16 year old gelding.
Ruby is our Nigerian Dwarf goat. We originally got her to breed and milk until we realized how little milk she would produce in a day.
Best buddies, you will never find one without the other.
Perfect Acres Vino. While not for sale it is a fun hobby. This is a basket of wine, fresh eggs and homemade Italian sausage that we donated.
